The Umbra Residence

Conceived as a darker expression of contemporary residential design, The Umbra Residence balances rich, dramatic finishes with natural warmth and softer sculptural forms.

Charcoal surfaces, dark timber and stone establish a strong architectural foundation, softened through textured upholstery, greenery, curved forms and warm integrated lighting. Repeated material tones and rounded details create continuity throughout the residence, while the private spaces shift into lighter neutrals to create a calmer, more retreat like atmosphere.

The concept explores contrast throughout: dark against light, structured against organic, and dramatic shared spaces against softer private ones. Material richness and controlled lighting bring depth to the interior while maintaining a sense of comfort and restraint.
