About Luxure

One vision. Carried all the way through.

Founded in 2020, Luxure is a Johannesburg based interior architecture and design studio providing design services across South Africa and internationally.

Our work spans new builds, renovations, furnishing and property development, with each project approached as a complete environment rather than a collection of separate rooms. We consider architecture, interiors, materiality, joinery, furniture and detail together so that every decision contributes to the same overall idea.

We begin by understanding how our clients want to live, what they are drawn to and what they want the space to become. From there, we develop a clear design language that guides the project from the earliest concept through to the final specification.

Within South Africa, Luxure can remain involved through procurement, coordination, installation and project delivery. For international projects, our role focuses on interior architecture, design, documentation, specification and creative direction, working alongside the client’s local professional and construction teams.

Meet Our Founder,
Jade Mariè Cohen founded Luxure with a belief that the most compelling interiors begin with understanding rather than aesthetics alone.

For Jade, design starts with listening. Often the most important part is understanding something a client can feel but cannot quite articulate, then translating that instinct into something tangible, considered and complete.

Her approach combines spatial thinking with a strong sensitivity to proportion, materiality, atmosphere and detail. The intention is never to impose a predetermined style, but to create spaces that feel deeply connected to the people who inhabit them.

That is still the part she loves most: seeing something that once existed only in someone’s imagination become a place they can actually step into.
